1. What Darvas Is
Darvas is a trading terminal software tool that lets you visualize cryptocurrency market data, get AI-powered technical analysis, and send user-controlled trade instructions through your own connected exchange account.
Darvas is not an exchange, broker, dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, crypto-asset service provider, or financial services provider. Darvas does not open exchange accounts for users, hold or custody funds, pool orders, match orders, act as counterparty, provide liquidity, or manage assets. All assets and positions remain in your own connected exchange account.
2. Third-Party Services
Darvas operates through the following third-party services. These providers are independent from Darvas, and their own terms of service apply.
2.1. Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI)
- AI analysis is provided by OpenAI.
- You connect your own ChatGPT/OpenAI account. Darvas does not provide an AI account.
- AI usage costs are charged to your own OpenAI quota.
- Your chat messages, chart state, and portfolio information are sent to OpenAI servers (United States) for analysis.
- Darvas does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or availability of OpenAI's output.
2.2. Exchange Connections
- Market data (price, volume, funding rate, open interest, etc.) is sourced from connected exchanges and third-party market-data providers.
- You connect your own exchange account through the supported authentication flow. Darvas never sees your exchange account password or private keys.
- Trade instructions are transmitted to your connected exchange and executed directly on that exchange's infrastructure under your own account. Darvas operates only as a software interface for user-directed order entry.
- Darvas does not guarantee any connected exchange's order execution speed, price accuracy, liquidation policies, or availability.
- Darvas does not have withdrawal access to your connected exchange account.
3. Risk Warning
CRYPTOCURRENCY TRADING INVOLVES HIGH RISK.
Leveraged trading, margin trading, perpetual swaps, futures, options, and other derivative products multiply this risk and may be restricted or unavailable in your jurisdiction. You can lose all or more than your initial investment. Crypto assets are not covered by deposit insurance.
Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
4. Not Investment Advice
All information, charts, technical indicators, news, and AI outputs presented on the platform are for informational purposes only.
- AI analyses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.
- AI models can hallucinate.
- Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- AI trade plans are presented as "analysis scenarios", not investment advice.
- The platform will not send any trade order without your explicit confirmation. AI-generated cards and scenarios are not executed unless you approve the final order action.
All trading decisions are entirely your own responsibility. You are encouraged to do your own research and consult an independent financial advisor before making any trading decision.
5. Your Responsibilities
By using the platform, you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- Every trading decision is made of your own free will.
- You are responsible for the security of your connected exchange and OpenAI accounts.
- You are responsible for verifying whether cryptocurrency trading and each specific product you access through a connected exchange, including spot, margin, perpetual swaps, futures, options, earn, or structured products, is legal and available in your country.
- All tax obligations are entirely yours.
- You will not transfer, rent, or share your account with anyone else.
6. Your Data
6.1. What We Store

- Your chat history (AI conversations)
- Your chart preferences and settings
- Connected exchange and OpenAI OAuth/API tokens (encrypted with AES-256-GCM)

6.3. Your Rights
- You can request access to your data.
- You can request correction of your data.
- You can delete your account and request permanent deletion of all your data.

6.4. Security
- OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- Session cookies are httpOnly, Secure, and use SameSite=Lax for OAuth flows or SameSite=Strict for first-party sessions. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Bot-protection providers may process IP addresses based on our legitimate interest under GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); see section 6 (Your Data) of these Terms for details.
- All communication is over HTTPS.
- Darvas never stores or logs your tokens in plain text.
6.5. Cookies
The platform only uses technically required cookies:
darvas_session: Session management (30 days)- Google OAuth temporary cookies (10 minutes, during login)
No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
7. Limitation of Liability
Darvas is provided "as is". We are not responsible for:
- outages or errors of connected exchanges, OpenAI, or other third-party services;
- AI analyses being wrong or misleading
- Order execution delays, slippage, or liquidation events
- Losses caused by market movements
- Internet connectivity issues
- Unforeseen software bugs
Darvas cannot be held liable for lost profits, data loss, or indirect damages under any circumstances.
8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the platform for:
- Market manipulation (wash trading, pump and dump, spoofing)
- Illegal activities
- Reverse engineering or scraping
- Circumventing rate limits
- Using someone else's account
- Bypassing access restrictions with a VPN
If a violation is detected, your account may be suspended without prior notice.
9. Access Restrictions
The platform is not available to users located in or residents of:
- United States of America and its territories
- Comprehensively sanctioned countries and territories under applicable EU, UK, US, or UN measures, including (without limitation) North Korea, Iran, Syria, Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Myanmar, and the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. The applicable list is the one in force at the time of your access; users are responsible for compliance with their own jurisdiction's sanctions regime.

10. Changes and Termination
- Darvas reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time.
- Significant changes will be communicated via email.
- You can close your account at any time.
- Continuing to use the platform after changes to these terms means you accept the new terms.
11. Intellectual Property
The Darvas brand, software, and design belong to Darvas. Users are granted a personal, non-transferable right to use the platform.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any disputes.
